Dr. Liliana Rueda Castrillon, MD CAWS-P
Founder and Clinical Director

Dr. Rueda is a dual-board-certified physician with over 25 years of diverse experience spanning reconstructive surgery, emergency medicine, and specialized wound care. She earned her initial medical degree in Colombia, where she completed a residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Universidad de Antioquia. She further refined her surgical expertise through advanced training in Burn Surgery at the University of Tennessee.

Expanding her clinical scope in the United States, Dr. Rueda completed a second residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, specializing in Family Medicine (USA). Today, she maintains board certifications in Plastic Surgery (Colombia) as well as Family Medicine and Wound Care (USA). Her practice seamlessly integrates her surgical foundations with her extensive experience in urgent and emergency medicine, supported by ongoing advanced training in aesthetics and wound management. 

Dr. Rueda is a married and the proud mother of two teenagers and a dog. She has a taste for different music genres and enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. Dr. Rueda is also an amateur artist with an eye for aesthetics that span from oil and acrylic paintings to custom decorated cookies.
